What is your motivation?

What is your motivation to write?

For most of us the overpowering need to write is what motivates us. That we feel empty or that something is missing when we don’t.

But there are other things that motivate us. Wanting to be published, teaching others our craft, screaming fans. The list can go on and on. It’s up to you to find your motivation, channel it and work with it to attain your goals.

I want to connect with readers. Writing is communication, but only if someone reads it. Otherwise it’s like picking up the phone and talking to a dial tone.
