Poem a Day Challenge Day 29

Wow, Monday already. This challenge has really flown by. I can’t believe we’re almost done.

Today’s Prompt – Paradise

My Attempt

Mountain High

On the mountain I stand alone

Watching as the world goes by

Above me an eagle sours through the bright blue sky

A nearby brush rustles as a small hare darts past me

I fill my lungs with the cool crisp air

Air that can’t be found where I live

The emerald green grass

The trees shimmering and full of leaves

The water in the nearby stream slowly babbling over the smooth rocks

Now this is a paradise I never want to leave

Well there you have it. My attempt at Paradise.

Have a great Monday and I’ll see you tomorrow for our last prompt of the challenge.
